Diamond Waste & Recycling on the map
I have been dealing with this company for the last two years about sending drivers out to a residential neighborhood as early as 5:30, parking next to homes, with diesel engines running. One gunned the engine then threatened to run me over for trying to get a plate number.
I am a general Contractor, and called Diamond Waste at the last minute for a 20 yard rolloff. Their professional service provided me with the dumpster and gave me an approximate time of arrival. the driver was there before the ETA and called ahead of his arrival. The price was comparable to other waste services and the service is excellent. Plus they deliver over the entire Chicagoland area. Diamond waste is now my #1 waste service.
I have dealt with this company and also have spoken to Felicia. Not one time have I encountered any rudeness or un-professionalism. I am pleased with the service and their promptness in getting my equipment to me and to our job sites. Great cost and the owner is very responsive!! Thanks Diamond. I only give it a 4 Star because i haven't as of yet had to deal with an issue. That's when the oil raises to the top!!
Very unprofessional and terrible customer service skills.
I live in PA and use a trash removal service by the same name, "Diamond Waste." When I went online to make my payment, I ended up paying the wrong company, the Diamond Waste & Recycling in Chicago, IL. Unaware of my mistake, I received a call from a woman named Felicia. I was unable to answer my phone at the time of her call and she left a message. In the message she simple stated her name and phone number to call and asked me to give them a call. I called as soon as I could and told the woman who answered that I had received a call about 1.5 hours ago. She put me on hold and redirected me to this Felicia woman. Upon answering, she had a horrible attitude, very snotty. I told her my name and she was immediately rude, snapping at me for not putting an invoice number or account number with my payment. When I told her I had included the invoice number on my payment, as it was required, she told me that there was no record of such and just a payment for 69.00 USD. I told her that I was not understanding the problem and that I currently did not have an invoice or account number on hand. I told her it was for my apartment and she told me I made a payment to the wrong company. I apologized for the trouble and asked what I can do to get my money back. She told me to call the bank and they will stop the payment. I thanked her and we hung up. I called my bank and spoke to a very sweet woman. I explained to her the situation, and she consulted with her supervisors to help resolve the problem. Unfortunately, since the payment was properly authorized (card wasn't stolen, etc) there was nothing that they could do, but that they could either call the company themselves or conduct a conference call with myself, the bank and the company. I told her that either way worked as I felt very confident in either option that the issue would be resolved. The bank put me on hold while the woman called the company. After a few minutes on hold, my bank picked back up and told me that they were unsuccessful in negotiating with the company and that the woman they spoke to was extremely rude and hung up on her. I asked her what my options were and she told me I could call back the company and see what I could do and if that did not solve anything, I could file a complaint with the BBB. I hung up with my bank and called back the company. I told the woman who answered my name and that they had called me just about 2 hours earlier. Again, she redirected me to Felicia. Upon answering the phone, this Felicia woman immediately has an attitude. I told her that it was me calling back and she snapped and told me she knew and that she had just talked to my bank. I explained to her why the bank would not do anything and that the refund would need to be processed through the company, and she told me that I "needed to put more pressure" on my bank to refund the money. Again, I explained WHY the bank could not refund it, as it was already processed and such. This woman starts raising her voice, telling me it was my irresponsible mistake and that the bank is lying and can fix it if they really wanted to. I said, "Excuse me, I am trying to talk. My bank has already told us both there is nothing they can do." The woman proceeded to have an attitude and use profanity against me, calling me a "little bitch," and a, "dumb little girl," who was "irresponsible," and that it was my "stupid mistake." I asked her if there was someone else I could speak to, perhaps her higher-up if she had one and she told me, "No, you can speak to me." I told her she was impossible to speak to and asked her what kind of business she was running. I told her she was not fit to run a business where she interacts with people/customers and she hung up. I am currently attempting to file a complaint with the BBB. Awful customer service and very unprofessional.
