Septic Blue of Charlotte on the map
Where to begin? Per a website that the local Mr. Rooter uses, in reference to new home buyers, "Don't sign the dotted line until you have the septic inspected." Called in mid April and discussed that as a home buyer I wanted an inspection prior to closing, no problem they said. Postponed a few weeks while the mortgage was being drawn up, decided it was time and made an online appointment last Friday. This past Thursday received a call that since I'm not the home owner I cannot even make an appointment and the homeowners must be present. But sure I could pay for it. Now, we had previously arranged for the realtors to be there but the owners gone for the day to minimize inconvenience. So since I cannot make the appointment, because these staff are law and realestate experts apparently, I cancelled. Called and spent about 20 minutes explaining this was a misrepresentation based on the website. Finally they said ok, you can have the appointment but the homeowners need to be present. Fine, arranged for the owners to cancel their plans and be presnt. The plumbers would be here today between 10am - 1pm. We all gave up our Saturday sitting and waiting. Never came never called. Finally at 330pm, 2.5 hours after the supposed appointment time frame and after all parties had left, I get a call. They 'might' be able to come out. Seriously? I call the owners back ask them to be ready, they agreed. Half hour later the dispatcher calls back and says they are in fact not coming would I like to reschedule for Monday morning. Why? So I can miss work and more people can miss work and be further inconvenienced? I would not let a plumber from this company touch a single thing in my home, even if they were 500% more competent than the dispatch folks. Ridiculous. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB for misrepresentation on the website and customer service. How yall got 4.7 stars on Google is beyond me.
Scheduled a pump and inspection for a Saturday a week prior. 2 days before they call me with questions. Ultimately they wont do it because I'm just the "home buyer" and even with the "Home owners" consent I cannot make an appointment. Well if this is the way your customer service works, then i'm glad you cant do it.
Worst company. They said its going to be 225 for 1000 gallon tank and 325 for 1500 gallon tank. They schedule me in the morning between 8 and 12. I called them at 3 in afternoon and they said then cannot make it today I will have to reschedule. They appear in next appointment and dig everything out and now they want to charge extra 135 on top of 225 or 325 which we agreed on. I said no I would not pay extra since thats not what we agreed on then the guy shut the tanks and now he want me to charge 292 since I said no for his trip and digging. Total scam.
I called Septic Blue yesterday to fix my back up problem. As they said, the technician reached on time and started the work right away. He was skilled and quick. He explained to me how the system works to avoid future problems . He charged me what they said on the phone. I will totally recommend Septic Blue. They are the best.
Do not use this company! This has to be the very worst company. They scam you with a discount on the pumping service. However most pumps do not meet their discount because they are larger than the special. The average house these days is 1,500 gallons not 1,000. Also they charge a 30.00 arrival fee. You will easily spend close to 400 to 500 just to pump out your tank with this company. They also have no customer service skills. If you make an appointment they will change it without even telling you. My appointment got changed twice, no phone call, no email. I asked to speak to a manager, no one called. Stay far away from this company. Do not even give them a chance, they will disappoint.
