Cindy's Cleaners on the map
The best dry cleaners for the most reasonable price in West Houston.
Best quality dry cleaners around ......the prices are awesome too!
I don't want to give any stars. I have been going here for over 10 years but recent the quality of service has gone way down. For example, I left a large order and when I went to pick up the order was missing four shirt, of which two were OVER $175.00 each. These shirts were misplaced and they would locate. However, I received a call three days later that they had given these shirt to another person in error and they ONLY returned two, but they stated that they had been calling the person to return the other two. The two missing were the most expensive shirts and it appears the person kept for a reason since they there all four in one bag. The manager stated they had them on camera picking up ALL four and did not know why they only returned two. It has been five weeks later with no shirts or resolution. Beware if you use this cleaner, as they may give your items to the wrong person, and if expensive items may never see them again nor be compensated for the true value. I will NEVER use this cleaner again and the level of quality has gone down over the past year.
Since moving here to Houston, look for a superior cleaner. They use a non environmentally harmful cleaning solution and hand finish your clothing. There their hand finishing shows in finest here. Don't expect it to be cheap it's not. It's detail is why I come here.
If I could give lower than 1 star I would. I have been going to this location for almost 7 years and the lady at the front taking cloths has got to be one of the worst customer service people ever. Mind you when I take cloths in for cleaning I take 30 to 40 shirts each time and several paints. They have now completely destroyed 2 of my shirts. They gave me a credit for the first shirt but the very next time I brought cloths in they ripped another shirt of mine. I'm convinced that the lady up front ripped my shirt on purpose. I went by the location twice to speak with a manager and was told by the lady that they were not available. On my third phone call I finally spoke with a manager and was told that they were not going to do anything to correct ripping my shirt. I was then told that there machines rip shirt after several times of them being laundered and that I should start dry cleaning my shirts with them. This is crazy to me being that the shirt they ripped is not even a year old and has not been brought to them to clean that many times. Needless to say I will not be using them as my cleaners going forward. I should have known to stop using them a while back when every time I went in I observed someone complaining they had damaged items or even lost them all together.
I have been coming to this location since I moved to the area two years ago. I drop off ~10-15 pieces of clothing at least once or twice a month, and have not once had an issue, either with the service or in my interactions with the staff. Pricing is comparable to others in the area. My last visit was for less than $30 and I left two skirts and at least five pairs of pants. They are very prompt and polite and I am usually able to come back the next day to get everything, unless it was an item that needed special attention. Not once has anything come back to me in worse condition - in fact my work clothes are safer here than they are with me!
They are great. Very fair prices and good service. Nice people.. I wish they had not moved from Sage rd.
When you take clothes there, they will study each item like an inspector and then get second and third opinions from other workers, only to refuse to clean certain items because they "can't because of the fabric." They refused to clean my normal items made with regular fabrics like suit jackets, silk shirts, linen pants. When you are rushing to work or home, this level of piece by piece deliberation on simple things is maddening and will waste your time and gas. Just skip this one until they become more skilled at cleaning all things besides just men's cotton shirts
I had two very expensive sports coats that my dog spilled a scented oil wax candle on. I tried every trick on Google to get them out with no improvement in the stain and cindi's got it out and they look brand new! I thought they were done! Saved me a good 400 bucks! Highly recommend!
Never again!! I brought a BGBG dress to have it cleaned. Because it was two tone, they were "concerned" it would bleed. I had it cleaned somewhere else before and knew it wouldn't so I authorized. I have asked them for SIX weeks now where my dress is. I was given 4 different stories before I was told that the dye bled and then the dress was LOST. I finally picked it up today and (1) it doesn't look as though it bled, (2) I was charged $33 for ONLY the dress because SUPPOSEDLY they had to "take the dress apart to clean", and (3) the dress didn't even appear to be sewn back together. Talk about a scam! Their cleaning prices are ridiculous as well. Find someplace. I went there for convenience but not anymore!! I would not recommend them. On another note, even if they tell you it will be finished by a certain day, they do not honor this. I have been told numerous times things would be ready and they then tell me when I come to pick everything up that only part of my order is ready because of something being dark (for example, I had to wait 2-3 extra days on a RED shirt). Taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.
